    In some ways.
But Honaker isn't that far off the mark with the same record?
Makes you wonder if the point system has played out as some thought.

    Re: REGION D - Div. 2

It's really not due to having more of a stronger schedule than others - outside of Haysi's obviously. Powell Valley is getting more rider points currently due to playing two Tennessee schools that is further into the season, giving them more of an opportunity currently to pick up points. It will start to even out with everyone else come the last week of the regular season since those two Tennessee schools will be finished.

    Re: REGION D - Div. 2

Honaker has lost to Richlands (8-0), Lebanon (7-1) and Haysi (6-1).

Powell Valley lost to Seymour, TN (5-4), Breathitt Co., KY (7-2) & of course Burton (8-0).

Since both Seymour and Breathitt face weak competition this week in their respective regular season ending games, PV should pick up 1 rider point from each team. The thing is that Honaker has more rider points coming their way more than likely than PV does here at the end of the season. With Haysi having 3 games left and the rest of their opponents having at least 2 games left in the regular season, Honaker may end up with the #2 seed if they finish with the same record as Powell Valley. Like it or not, from what I can tell from Honaker's schedule looks tougher for the most part than PV's happens to be - based on power points and strength of schedule. It may be very close to see who gets the #2 & #3 seed if both teams win out to close the regular season. Haysi is going to be the #1 seed, got too many points they will pick up in the next 3 games and with the weak opponents left - they should finish 9-1.
